Napkins - Variegated Boxwood
Details
Nature-Inspired Variegated Boxwood Napkins for Everyday Dining
These Variegated Boxwood Napkins are inspired by the box hedge in our garden at home in Dunbar, East Lothian. The design is taken from a photograph of the hedge, capturing the soft variations of green, the two-tone leaves, and the natural rhythm found in the garden. The colour palette is drawn directly from this image, creating a fresh yet timeless design suitable for everyday dining and special occasions alike.
About the Design
The pattern began with a close observation of variegated boxwood growing in the garden, its gentle colour shifts, small leaf forms and organic repetition translating beautifully into a surface pattern. This connection between photography, observation and hand-drawn design sits at the heart of my creative process.
